What it is
Your Transfer is a free tool for sending a file or some text from one device to another. Pick what to send, share the short code or QR code, and the other device connects and receives it directly.
How it works
The two browsers connect to each other directly (peer to peer). A public introduction service only helps the two devices find each other. The file itself never passes through our servers, and we cannot see it, keep it or recover it.
Good to know
- Both devices must be online and keep the page open until the transfer finishes.
- One transfer can be up to 2 GB in total. Several files are packed into one ZIP.
- There are no accounts and no uploads.
- Some strict networks and firewalls block direct connections, so a transfer may not connect there.
